Today, Rihanna added one more layer to her all encompassing fashion, beauty, and music industry takeover: her complete line for Mac Cosmetics just went on sale. And according to a spokesperson from the brand, "it's more than summer love." MAC's product development expert Jennifer Balbier gave us even more insight on what it was like to work with Riri. "I remember our first meeting with Rihanna--I couldn't believe how much she knew about MAC's products. We've always known she was a fan, but from the start it felt like we were like speaking with a colleague. She was even referencing products we had years and years ago. Needless to say, she was heavily involved in each of the collections. She knows exactly what she likes and what she doesn't like. We went through many iterations of each product to ensure it was absolutely perfect," Jessica explained. "The signature was Rihanna's idea too. What better way to show a 'signature' lip color than putting the actual signature on the bullet?" We've got news and it's totally a bigger deal than Cher Horowitz realizing her dream and getting with Luke Perry: Clueless is getting the nail treatment, via NCLA.

That's right, the Los Angeles-based finger-based brand is using the 1995 cult classic movie as inspiration for a capsule collection coming out in September. It includes four different sets of nail wraps, each with a range of patterns inspired by Cher, Tai, Dionne, and more, and it is even more amazing than we could have ever imagined.

You're got your iconic prints (there are yellow plaids and black-and-white stripes), memorable lines (including "You're a virgin who can't drive," of course), and more obscure but equally awesome references (like one that's a riff off of the Cher's Closet computer program).

And though Cher sported a French manicure in the film, we're pretty sure that, if given the chance, she would have sprung for some "Whatever" nail wraps. The better to tell off Amber, right?

Amfar held the fourth annual Inspiration Gala at The Plaza last night, so tons of celebrities showed up to the famous New York hotel in their black-tie best. In a see of designer gowns, what really caught our attention was Lindsey Wixon's 1920s-inspired hair and makeup. She gave her curls a super glossy, but not wet, look. And the same went for her lips. It's the latest hair trend (perfect for humid summer nights), so pay attention to our tips below! It would be so easy to show up to the season six party for True Blood in full-on vamp-inspired makeup. You know, smokey eyes, deep red lipstick, super-pale skin.

A year ago, most people had never even heard of BB creams before. But now? You probably debate with your friends which ones work best.

The Result: The New York-based brand has been making skincare products since 1851--so of course their BB version is less about the frills than the results. The vitamin C and natural mineral-enhanced formula does a great job concealing blemishes and evening out skin tone, with a velvet-y finish helping to reduce the appearance of pores, too. Oh, and it's also paraben-, mineral oil-, and fragrance-free.
Use It: If you're primary goal is to get a flawless face--and you'd like to do it with an SPF 50 product.

The Product: Diorskin Nude Tan BB Creme - $44
The Promise: A limited edition version of their BB creme--with the bonus of a bronzing agent!
The Result: Both shades from Dior's summer Birds of Paradise Collection are deeper than what you'll find in the now-permanent line--think of it as the ultimate face bronzer. The formula is luxurious without feeling greasy, with a very tropical ingredient list that includes hibiscus. And because you shouldn't be getting bronzed from the sun itself, it's also got SPF 15.
Use It: If you plan on spending all summer at the beach and want your face products to match--or are staying inside but don't want anyone to know.

We love beach-y waves year-round, be it November or February, but we particularly love them when it's actual, you know, beach season.

And clearly, so does Kate Bosworth.
