Earlier this month we asked you to design your own custom color combinations for the NIKE DUNK iD x NYLON collab and expected to get some crazy-cool designs. But we were blown away by just how many readers shared their creations with us on Twitter using the custom hashtag #myNYLONNIKEiD. From technicolor lace-ups to simple, nautical-inspired sneaks, there were tons of great options to choose from--and it wasn't easy to pick our favorite eight. Scanning through pictures of this past weekend's events is like playing a round of celebrity geography: All of Hollywood relocated to Cannes for the film festival, the fashion kids congregated in Monaco for the showing of Dior's resort collection, and the entire music industry headed to Las Vegas for last night's Billboard Music Awards.
And while the two aforementioned events showcased a barrage of jaw-dropping couture and Old Hollywood elegance, this year's Billboard Awards was all about the bold, the bright, and, yes, the sequins. To celebrate our May Young Hollywood issue, we threw a big party at the Roosevelt Hotel in L.A. hosted by cover star Chloe Grace Moretz (in a Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony dress and Jimmy Choo shoes). And of course, lots of our favorite up-and-coming actors were there, from Ashley Benson to Jaden Smith.

But that wasn't all: There were models, bloggers, and all-around cool girls. And also, tons great outfits.

If you're a designer, the coolest part about your job is probably walking around and seeing your clothes on total strangers on the street.

So when we launched our NIKE DUNK iD X NYLON collab in April, we were counting down the days until we could start bumping into stylish people rocking them.

That day has come: We sent photographers out to New York, London, and Tokyo to capture the kicks worn in their natural element--that is, the streets. Here are a few of our favorite snaps, but this is only just the beginning; don't forget to design your very own personalized NIKE DUNK iD X NYLON, since we'll be featuring our favorites right here on Monday, May 20th! Ever since we featured Frame Denim in our March issue, we couldn't get the image of those perfect jeans out of our heads, probably for the same reason why the brand completely sold out on Shopbop.com before founders Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson even had a chance to promote the new line: they're the best fitting jeans ever. Guess who else thinks so? Here's a hint: she's a model with baking skills that rival Martha Stewart's. That's right, Frame's first collab since launching in November is with Karlie Kloss. And this one is for the tall girls--this is the first 40 inch inseam to ever hit the market. "Nothing like this exists," Karlie Kloss told us in a meeting at the Soho House yesterday. "It doesn't matter how tall or short you are--it's still hard to find pants that fit. For years, I wore clothes that didn't fit or I wore custom ones. This will be the first time that I'll actually be able to roll up my jeans!" Kloss said, who hovers around six foot-one. She then pointed to how much extra room there was around her ankles. Kloss continued, "This happened out of necessity. I've worked with some of the top designers in the industry and so has Jens and Erik. None of us are designers, but we were able to create something great based on our experience and the need for them on the market. I've learned from the success with my cookies that if the product is really great--and if you're passionate about it, which I am about this, then everyone will love it as much as you do." Torstensson then finished Kloss's thought, "No one wants to eat a bad cookie! Miranda Kerr told me something similar. She said that she wears our jeans every day not because she's a friend, but because she loves the way they look on her. And if they weren't great she wouldn't wear them." If you're thinking that Miranda Kerr and Karlie Kloss would look good in jeans made out of paper bags and that this isn't a good endorsement--think again. We've seen Frame on a room full of girls (ourselves included) with every different body type imaginable, and the reviews are all the same. They fit everyone. Karlie's super-long denim--which cost $209--will be available during the first week of June at Barneys New York, Net-A-Porter, Ron Herman, and Jeffrey. And if you're more of a 30 inch inseam kind of girl, Frame's has that too. RAY SIEGEL

Ethical fashion has been a hot topic the past few weeks--in no small part due to the devastating clothing factory collapse in Bangladesh nearly three weeks ago. So how do you balance doing good and looking good? We've found part of our answer in Asos' new Africa Collection for spring '13, which launches today.

The 19-piece collection features bright, bold prints in warm-weather ready shades like chartreuse and peacock green. The entire series looks exactly like what we've been daydreaming our summer wardrobe would be like (think racerback dresses and loose-cut pants), and everything comes in under $100.

So they've got the looking good part down. But also, there's a lot of do-gooding that happens when you buy one of the Asos Africa pieces; the retailer teamed up with SOKO Kenya, a clothing production workshop that works to create sustainable jobs and develop skills for the country's poor. Their tagline? "Ethical, green, sustainable livelihoods," which is something we can all agree with. Well that, and an awesome cross-strap jumpsuit. Which in this case, you can get at the same time.

What was that? You say you've never heard of Fraggle Rock?
Okay, putting all shock and judgment aside, we feel honored to introduce some of you to one of the most epic television shows of all time--which just so happens to be celebrating its 30th anniversary tomorrow with the release of The Fraggle Rock: 30th Anniversary Collection DVD box set.
Created by the one and only Jim Henson, the show centers on five principal Fraggles who live together in underground caves. At its core, the show subtly addresses issues of identity, racism, community, and acceptance--without ever seeming the least bit like an after school special. And on the surface, the show's about really colorful, goofy muppets singing songs and doing other goofy things--plus, it boasts one of the most awesome theme songs in television history [clap clap].
Even if this is all brand new information for you, the show's likely affected you for some time now--without you ever knowing. From Hawaiian print tops to Olsen-twin approved oversized garments, we're celebrating the series by showing how each of the five principal fraggles directly influenced some of the biggest trends to hit the runway of late.
