the adidas story...

When a wooden shoebox arrived at the Nylon office with 3 black stripes, we expected a pair of adidas sneakers to be the contents. How wrong we were. With the Olympics set for this Summer, our good friends at Adidas sent us a treasure trove of Adidasâ€™ history, complete with an animated short film and a cool T-shirt showing a timeline of quotes, dates and events, while name checking icons such as Cassius Clay, Missy Elliot and RUN DMC. The content explains the long journey adidas has made through the years. Looking at the major events and people who have inspired and been inspired by the brand.
