Yo Yo! Neon's whats up.
12 07 07 - 17:16 Last night at Love in the village was the Mark Ronson and Daniel Merriweather after party, and Ronson's (almost) bi-monthly electric party Yo Yo. This time though, it was to celebrate Ronson's new album "VERSION" 's release in the states. A few of us NYLONers were invited by Allido Records' Harley, and got down with some amazing DJ's... amazings like the great Aaron Lacrate. The underground lair of Love combined with the Yo Yo party was a neoned and glow-in-the-darked out venue. As NYLON art director of interactive Alexandra Gershman put it,"who wouldn't like a bar with fake plastic rocks, misting waterfalls, a stand full of 40's, neon, and secret passage ways.

Crazy hangin room.
The setup was a bit hyphey! There were rooms weaving in and out of each other mostly leading to the large high school dance-esque dance floor with the DJ sitting at the head of the room. While we were waiting for the man himself, (Mark was featured in the most recent issue of NYLON guys), these cats put on a little show. They def reminded me of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air... i mean that in the best way possible! Ronson showed up, we listened to Aaron Lacrate, who held it down big Baltimore style, and enjoyed Love for what is what worth.

Peace and Love, Tracy xoxo
