Yo guyz! So me and Bridget were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the NYLON office today and Becca was watching the coolest band in the world on her computer. MGMT just came out with their music video for "Time to Pretend". Bridget silently walked out of the room, while I cried tears of joy. All I have to say is that it made me the happiest blogger in the world. Enjoy! Also watch them perform live on David Letterman. Miraculous of course. (more)

Yo guyz, so there are some 2008 great updates on some websites. One of my fav artists Brendan Lynch redesigned and updated www.thebrendanlynch.com. Check some of the new pieces and installations. I love his work. So much that one of his pieces made it up on the wall of the new Spacey Tracy room. The shark fin sculpture is rad, as well as all of the other works. Another LAer Charlie Edmiston, added some new pieces to www.charlieedmiston.com. Check em.

Yoo guyz! So the other day I took a trip uptown to the American Museum of Natural History, and it was sooo tight. Me, and New York DJ's Cassie and Harley got on the train and took a few wrong turns, but eventually ended up in the coolest looking place in Manhattan. The detours took a little time away from the museum, but we still got to see the taxidermy, and my favorite, the space section. Our trip to space and back was rad, and Africa was cool too. We even got bit by a snake... A Cobra Snake (check www.thecobrasnake.com for more pics from our safari). Also! Take a look at the Cool Kids and what they do on a night at the museum here on nylonmag.com!

Yo guyz, so this week I moved down to Soho right near the NYLON office. Unfortunately in New York it is kind of hard to have a yard sale to clean out your closet, but with the help of Brooklyn's Beacon's Closet, no space or nature is necessary to make some bank. I got rid of 75 percent of my wardrobe to make room in the new pad, and scored 500 bucks for it from Beacon's. If you are looking to do some early spring cleaning take a trip to either the Park Slope or Williamsburg location, and have them take a look at your goods. The great thing is if they don't want to buy your clothes from you they will keep it and donate it to different charities. So if you want to get rid of some baggage, score some cute vintage finds, possibly make some money or store credit, or buy some Spacey Tracy clothes, have a BK adventure and go to Beacon's Closet!

Yooo guyz, so the rest of my film finally got sent back to the east coast from my west coast adventures! The pictures basically document the beginning of 2008 for me, and the cool stuff I already got to see this year. Fortunately, not only did LA bring one of the first New Years that wasn’t a let down in my book, but there were also some layed back live music shows that complemented the craziness of the ending of 2007. Alex Greenwald of Phantom Planet and Chief played at Temporary Spaces one night, and not too many nights after Darren Weiss, the new Simon Dawes, and Rumspringa played a gig. For all those people who have told me Los Angeles does not have a lot to do there…. Liars… all liars.

Yooooo guyz, so little Vampire Weekend is no longer little anymore. After getting back from their tour with The Shins, the layed back rockers teamed up with Hammers & Tongs for their new music video "APunk". These boys keep on getting better with everything they do. Watch the vid, they even know how to get down and dance! (more)
