I was browsing through my iTunes and thought I'd create a video mixtape of a few fave style-related songs for this blog. Going out on a limb of overwhelming creativity, I call this playlist "Songs of Fashion."

My friend knows I'm a fan of Project Runway and he just sent me this sketch from last night's Saturday Night Live. Looks like PR winner Christian Siriano (who I've been rooting for this season) has just reached a whole new level of fame. Congrats Christian!!

adidas REMIX teamed up San Francisco-based streetwear brand Mama for the first female silhouette hi top. These adidas x ProMama kicks are limited edition (le sigh) with only 500 pairs available in the U.S., but these sneakers are really a total steal at $100 a pop. Check out some sweet girlie touches like quilted hearts and a gold-plated Mama insignia! And be sure to hit up your closest specialty sneaker boutique as these have already hit the streets.
