FAN OF THE FANNY PACK

Monday 12 November 2007 at 11:45 am Though it conjures up a wave of early '90s nostalgia and tourists, I am an unabashed fan of the fanny pack. It's such a nice change after lugging around huge handbags for an entire year. (My shoulders have since thanked me!) There have been some new takes on the fanny pack this season, as seen on the runways of Alice Roi and Philip Lim at New York Fashion Week. But I prefer something a tad more traditional (and cheaper). Check out these fanny packs from Built by Wendy and American Apparel. Take note: Fanny packs are only acceptable when rocked to the side of the hip.
