Between pre-fall, holiday, resort, and of course, regular old fall collections, trends come and go even more quickly these days. But there are always those ones that we're desperate to hang on to. (We are positive that the reissue of the Chloe Susan boot
had to have been some sort of fashion god answering our prayers. Right?)
This season, we said a little pre-New York Fashion Week prayer for leather to stick around, since we'd be at a complete loss every morning if leather pants and motorcycle jackets were suddenly off the table. Not only are these pieces sticking around (phew), but they were all over the runway in more colorful versions than ever. From orange bombers and skirts at Rachel Comey, to some fine blue leather trim at BCBG, and our personal favorite: purple metallic (yup!) at Juicy Couture--we've got a few good reasons to hold on to our favorite pieces and shop for new ones.
