Yesterday we introduced you to our February cover star Selena Gomez. But we couldn't just leave it at that because, after all, we're big believers in the "more is more" ethos.

It seems that Gomez would agree. She talked at length to NYLON's executive editor Ashley Baker about her friendships--and how important they've been in her life.

"[Taylor Swift and I] both experienced the same things at the same time. But we've never once talked about our industry. She just became the person I'd go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend. It's so hard to trust girls, so I'm lucky to have her," she says.

The other people she's loved hanging out with? Her Spring Breakers co-stars Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine: "It was always us four girls. We'd go to our favorite restaurants, we'd go to the movies--Ashley and I saw The Hunger Games. We went shopping, we went on boat rides, we slept over in each other's hotel rooms. It was really fun!"
