Imagine, for a moment, that you run
H&M. If you've got a cool new collection for spring dubbed Rock'N'Roll Mansion, featuring onstage-worthy pieces like studded leather jackets and tie-dye skinny pants, who would you book to be the face of it?
If your answer is Georgia May Jagger, not only are you really smart, but you're also really right.
Meet H&M's spring '13 model, who headed to a real mansion to shoot the entire collection (which hits stores this February, so mark your calendars). As the daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, the younger Jagger knows a thing or two about fashion and music--and wasn't afraid to talk about it with the Swedish mega-retailer: "I think music influences fashion and has done so for generations. Music creates a certain mood and then people dress accordingly. I thinks it's all quite closely intertwined."
As for Jagger's own look? It mirrors exactly what you'll find in the collection; as she puts it, "I wear what makes me feel good. It can be skinny jeans one day, and dresses and boots another."
Flip through the gallery to see H&M's Rock'N'Roll Mansion collection, and then check out the NYLON blog later today for more behind-the-scenes shots of Georgia May at her shoot. And after, you can submit your resume to H&M since you clearly share a similar vision.
