MANI MONDAY: ARE YOU MANICURIOUS?
We want you to submit your best nail art.
There are many reasons why we love nail art, but lead among them is the fact that it's so easy to do; if you can afford a 99-cent bottle of polish, you can whip up a mini-masterpiece on your fingers.
We've long documented our adventures in nail art, but now we want to open it up to you. Meet Manicurious, our new daily blog post featuring the amazing designs from our amazing readers. In our first week alone we got one featuring watercolor polish and another on how to nab the Ruffian tips--so needless to say, the bar has been set pretty high.
Think you've got what it takes to make the cut? Here's what to do:
1) Do your nails. Duh.
2) Take a pic. Make sure it's really good and not blurry--iPhone snaps aren't ideal, OK?
3) Write up a step-by-step guide to re-creating it, including which polishes you used (brands and color names, please).
4) Email it to us: nylonnails@gmail.com. If you love your nails but don't want the world to know just how much time you spend painting them, that's fine--just let us know so we keep you anonymous.
5) Check the NYLON blog every day to see if your nails made the cut!
