#NYLONSHOP: HOW IT'S MADE

#NYLONSHOP: HOW IT'S MADE

A whole lot of love goes into every In God We Trust piece.

Here at NYLON, we love a good indie success story. Duh, we are one! And if the In God We Trust jewelry you've been loading up on in the #NYLONshop is any indication, you love 'em too.

While we adore IGWT for their irreverence (case in point: these "Best Fuckin' Friends" necklaces) there's a lot of unseen hard work that goes into the multifaceted brand. Designer Shana Tabor opened the first IGWT outpost in 2005, thanks to a stroke of real estate fate in Williamsburg and a personal loan from her brother. Since then, she's built the little empire that could, expanding her jewelry and clothing line to NYC's Lower East Side and Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Just what does it take to make a #NYLONshop best-seller? We'll let Shana do the talking and give you a peek into her workspace in this new documentary short. If you're left wanting more, click on over to the shop and pick up our favorite IGWT gems!
