Diane Kruger has always hovered at the top of our girl crush list. It's probably because no matter what she's wearing or how much makeup she has on, her look is effortless—not to mention timeless. Today, we were particularly inspired by how she made Old Hollywood hair and makeup look so new. Follow our steps (they're easy):
PIN IT: Marianna Hair Pins, $8.99
Divide your hair into medium-sized sections and curl each one using a one-inch curling iron. Then pin each piece to your head to hold the curl.
PRIME IT: MAC Prep + Prime Skin Smoother Primer, $30
While you're waiting for your curls to set, start applying your face makeup. Use a primer followed by a moisturizing BB cream to get glowy, hydrated-looking skin with a matte finish.
LASH IT: Lancome Hypnose Doll Lashes, $26
After lining your eyes with a pencil, use a lash separating mascara to get Kruger's wide-eyed look.
To finish off the hair, loosen your curls and part your hair to the side. Take the front section of your hair, twist the entire strand, and pin it back. Voila—you're ready for your 1940s movie premiere.
