STREET STYLE: VIRGIN MOBILE FREEFEST
7 For All Mankind helps us spot the latest trends from the festival!
Last weekend, I hopped a train to Maryland and joined the rest of the young folk at Virgin Mobile's FreeFest. As anticipated, I caught killer performances by Santigold, Jack White, Nas, and the Alabama Shakes.
But less expected (considering the chilly Autumn weather), was the awesome style seen on many of the festival goers. Instead of boring ol' denim and Patagonia fleeces, I saw stylish girls in punchy floral prints very similar to those seen on the spring '13 runway (see: Prada and Erdem), coated leather-like denim cool enough for Alison Mosshart to wear on stage, a range of highly-editorial jewel tone ensembles, and modern (more refined) take on last fall's distressed jean.

Pants like these are really hitting it this fall. Even though the maroon might be a little overrated, there's still a way to make it your own! Especially with this leather option.
