A year and a half ago, Chanel introduced a trio of khaki and beige nail polishes that made us so obsessed,
we did an olive green manicure roundup.
But that was many runways ago, and since then we've seen blues, grays, purples... and lots of glitter. Now Yves Saint Laurent beckons our return to army territory with their newest addition, a lacquer the color of a trench coat inventively named "Khaki Arty."
In their latest campaign, YSL models demonstrate the trend by matching their nails to a similarly-hued snakeskin clutch. (Presumably, the heels coordinate, too.) Swap the new shade for your usual black nail polish, or use it to coordinate with Eyeko's cool olive eyeliner, and consider your matchy-matchy merit badge earned for Fall.
As for how to wear Chanel's latest drop-dead color, Vertigo, stay tuned - we'll have a whole other story for that one...
