Our new favorite balm is ultra violet.
According to holistic therapists, scientific studies, and Wikipedia, lavender helps people stay calm and even sleep. Now it's also a cute alternative to lip gloss.

This week, C.O. Bigelow releases their newest product, a tin of lavender salve. Much like our old favorite, Rosebud Salve, this stuff is great as lip balm, emergency moisturizer, or even a primer coat on your eyelids to make glitter stick, or to turn powder into a shiny-lidded effect. (If you use your salve for that purpose though, make sure you're only putting it on your eyes, preferably with a cotton swab or a clean sponge.)

The tin costs $5.50 at C.O. Bigelow and online. It will not counteract the double espresso you downed this afternoon, but at least it'll keep you calm when you're applying a complicated eye makeup look.
