DIY the best friendship bracelet for your bestie

This week we turned our desk into Camp NYLON. Instead of the usual post-it notes and paper of work station was covered in embroidery floss, curb chains and charms which could only mean one thing: friendship bracelet DIY!

We'd seen these dressed-up friendship bands retailing for hundreds, but we knew pretty quickly that our love didn't need to cost a thing.

We stumbled on a great tutorial by the ladies at Honestly WTF and added our own special touch with crazy colors and charms.

Here's what you'll need:

- A thick curb chain bracelet (these are on sale and come in pink!)
- Embroidery thread (one suggestion: "Taste the Rainbow")
- Charms you've been collecting since childhood

The process is just like braiding, except your embroidery floss gets threaded through the each hole of the curb chain. It's easy-peasy and took us about 20 minutes start to finish.

Make one for yourself and one for your bestie. Or concede that it's okay to have more friendship bracelets than actual friends...
