BEST DRESSED: THE HUNGER GAMES PREMIERE
May the clothes be ever in your favor.
In The Hunger Games Katniss comes to win - and so did Jennifer Lawrence at last night's Los Angeles premiere. The 20-year-old actress hit the red carpet in a molten gold gown straight off of Prabal Gurung's Fall runway, and killed it. (Figuratively, of course - although her character does plenty of actual assassinating in the movie.)
And while "The Hunger Games" sounds like a great-slash-awful name for a dieting story in a lame women's magazine, the great thing about this red carpet was that every actress from the film looked beautiful, healthy, and totally age-appropriate. (Props to 11-year-old Willow Shields for rocking a pair of silver hippie sandals on the red carpet instead of a teetering pair of stilettos - although wearing a Marc Jacobs Collection cocktail frock as an oversize t-shirt dress is certainly not a "normal" thing for most girls who aren't Kiernan Shipka / Suri Cruise / Elle Fanning.)
