Just when you thought Christian Louboutin shoes couldn’t be any sexier, David Lynch got his dirty hands on them. Fetish is the collaboration between the iconic red sole shoemaker and the fetishistic filmmaker—an exhibition of five shoes and five cinematic prints as seductive as they are sadomasochistic. From 20-inch-high heels that hurt to look at to Siamese stilettos, spliced at the heel, these two and three-dimensional works of art are made more for worshipping than walking. Said Louboutin: “The models wore these unwearable shoes with natural grace. Their very white skin, very dark eyes and bright mouths melded with Lynch's aesthetics… As is his habit, David Lynch made it into a décor populated with shadows.” SAMANTHA GILEWICZ
