GET YOURSELF CONNECTED

Gadgets...for girls!

Ladies: Sure, there’s something to be said for the fact that we’d sooner line up around the block on a rainy day for “I’m not a plastic bag” than an iPhone. But there’s also something to be said for not knowing the difference between a stick of ram and a stick of gum. So, in honor of the current geek chic trend, we thought it wise to better acquaint our, er, yourselves with a few girl-friendly gadgets.

ZUNE ORIGINALS
Wear your art on your sleeve with Zune’s new customized covers. The Misshapes’ Leigh Lezark did at the recent launch party, where twenty-seven designs by 18 emerging, international artists were unveiled. Now not only can you personalize your playlist, but your plaything too!

Nylon, that's gross. Way to reinforce demeaning gender stereotypes. Women are technologically illiterate and desperately need your help, huh?

To ANA, please get over your extreme feminist view. they were showing women some styles of technology that might appeal to them because of style and girly touches. but of course, you interpret it as meaning that women are technologically illiterate. find something better to do with your time. nylon rocks!

These are absolutely fabulous recommendations. However, I love my Powerbook and the rest of the Apple family. The bamboo laptop is oh-so-innovative and absolutely eco-friendly, but it runs Windows. Plus, the Zunes are gorgeous and I love the new patterns, but the problem is, they don't run with Macs. Sadly, I am left sitting here longing for two absolutely gorgeous objects of new affection, but cannot switch over to a Windows system. I really like the concepts though. The bamboo is great and the artwork that Zune is offering is fatntastic. (:
