RED AGAIN
Our favorite color gets glossed over.
Despite the proliferation of fall clothes in store windows, it's still too humid to wear autumn clothes. That's also true for makeup, where rich pigments often come with thick and creamy texture - dreamy when it's a bit colder, but uncomfortably slick in places without AC. (Outside, for instance.)
The geniuses at Sugar have figured out that red lipstick addicts in particular must suffer in the summer, so they've come out with a red lip balm that feels like Cherry Chapstick, but actually leaves a mark (the kind you want) on your lips.
It's called Red Passion, though mercifully it doesn't smell like passion fruit (our first suspicion). Instead, the balm is a red incarnation of Sugar's other lip hits, including our office favorite "Plum," a sheer violet tint for junior varsity goths.
It's new and available now at Sephora, and since it looks great with a variety of skin tones, and makeup looks, you might find yourself wearing it even after fall's brisk winds start to roll.

I would have loved to see an up close photo on a model instead of a photo of the tube itself :(
