At this point in the fashion game, Mickey Mouse has become as ubiquitous a player as our old friend The Skull. Mouse ears were an integral part of Comme des Garcons and Jeremy Scott's runways, they had a moment with Linda Farrow sunglasses, and Forever 21 devoted an entire capsule collection to Minnie's cutesy style. (Louis Vuitton also paid homage with mouse ears made of wire and lace, later worn by Mary-Kate Olsen.)
The beauty world's been a little slow to catch up. Wonder Woman, Cruella DeVil, and Hello Kitty get their own makeup lines, but Mickey Mouse, not so much. Technically, that's still true - although we found something pretty fun at Target this weekend.
The cleaning company Method specializes in eco-friendly cleaners, and they just released their hand soap in Mickey and Minnie dispensers. The containers are actually pretty cool, especially if you peel the labels off and keep them as plain black silhouettes.
If you like Mickey and is weird new fashion connections, but haven't worn a mouse tee since Britney and Justin were on The MMC, this might be a good way to go.
