MIX MASTERS
M.A.C makes their favorite beauty bloggers into cosmetics moguls.
NYLON tagged along with the nine lucky beauty bloggers M.A.C flew to their factory outside Toronto to create their own shades (each made either a Lip Glass or an eye shadow).
The factory itself was fascinating (yes, our Factory Girl has visited—back in 2006), but not as fascinating as the bloggers themselves, who came from as far as California to participate.
Each was full of inspiration (Temptalia’s Christine Mielke referenced a Beanie Baby and an emerald earring; Afrobella’s Patrice Yursik brought a copy of Prince’s Purple Rain) and the shades themselves were super cool (Beauty Blogging Junkie’s Amber Katz mixed the perfect shimmering brown shadow Sparkle Neely Sparkle, and Beauty Maverick’s Lily Nima created an amazing persimmon-colored lip shade called Caqui).
