When you hear a new scent is inspired by the first morning of summer, you get excited - especially since the actual first day of summer seems eons away.
Burberry's new perfume - aptly called "Summer" - wraps all of that yearning for bare legs and dandelion dew into a bottle. You can especially pick out its Lily of the Valley notes because they're musky and subtle - a little like crab apple trees smell when they're beginning to drop their blossoms.
The perfume hits Sephora this week, and is a limited edition until next season - when it'll be 100 degrees, you'll be racing to the beach in a mercifully air conditioned car, and ready for a perfume called "Autumn - please lord, soon."
