As anyone who's ever faced a daunting deadline can understand, Facebook is the ultimate procrastination tool. As is watching movies on Netflix, Hulu, and iTunes.
And now the two worlds are about to collide. Starting tonight, Warner Bros. is letting customers rent five of the studio's most popular films via Facebook. This means you can use your Facebook credits to catch up on old
Harry Potter flicks, see
Inception,
Life as We Know It, and
Yogi Bear. They're 30 credits each (that's $3), and although they're rolling out the project slowly with just a few films, new ones will be added soon.
And in case you were wondering, you can still update your Facebook status, chat with friends, and even post comments while you're watching the movies. So in a way, you're multitasking
while you're procrastinating. That's got to count for something, right?
