I am new to the Sunshine Coast - I was born and bred in Brisbane, and have lived there my entire life (aside from 2 brief stints in Woodford and Lismore - no, I'm not a hippy, I swear!). Last year I decided that I was sick of visiting the Sunshine Coast constantly (it's so beautiful, so we visited a lot) and decided that I had to live there instead. So as a first year teacher to be, I put in applications for every school on the coast - and was offered a position in Caloundra at a truly amazing school - and I start there in 2 weeks time.
