These new blushes come with a secret weapon.
Call it the curious case of the shapeshifting makeup. If you look through your beauty drawer you'll find that pretty much every item comes in multiple forms- liquid, solid, powder, whatever.
But two recently stocked blushes at Sephora take this metamorphosis up a notch. Both the Hourglass Aura cheek stain and the Givenchy Jelly blush are packaged with a sponge applicator.
We were hesitant to test this unexpected addition, but found that the color went on smoother and more evenly, thanks to the mini-sponge. Plus, it helps the blush blend better (usually a problem with powder and basic stains) and really lasts all day long. While these new versions are a little pricier than their drugstore counterparts, the fact is, they work.
So the next time someone compliments you on how pretty you look, don't just blush...soak it up.
