I think what people are trying to say is that they wish someone else, someone more original, had been a cover girl instead of Kate Bosworth. I understand deleting mean / offensive comments, like the ones about her being "trash" (nonsense) so I'll be the one to stand up and say, reasonably and calmly, that Kate Bosworth isn't my favourite and I wish it had been someone else. But I also wish people weren't so mean, there's no need for that kind of behaviour.

I didn't like Kate B until I read the article. Now I like her a lot more. And I love the clothes she wore, and I love Nylon. But I think Karina883 should be the next cover girl or at least President :)

I've only been saying she's not a good example for young women with her figure, but apparently that is against some kind of law here. Seriously, why ask for comments if you're just going to erase them if they have a low rating. Some of them weren't even mean, they were just saying it sets a bad example.

I personally love Kate Bosworth and her style. I think its great that she got a cover as she is coming out with several new movies and her jewelry line. I don't understand why so many people dislike her.

I didn't care for Kate Bosworth before and sadly, this doesn't change my opinion. I find it sad that America would try to emulate or set forth a person who seems to have weight issues as a cover girl.

I don't personally know the girl, so I can't say I hate her...But I don't think she is someone that should be on the cover of a magazine, and I think this particular cover should have been different, it looks like clothes from Salvation Army. While I've never thought of her as a trendsetter or fashionista, I can respect the fact that she tries.

Oh Nylon, Kate is fine. Girls hate her because of her boyfriend, that's all. Mag cover this month is in same vein as other months. Great interview BTW, really lets me know more about her.

Faran, I have read the interview and she doesn't have any movies out this month. If anything she has Straw Dogs coming out in September. She sets a bad example on a lot girls I know who like her and they believe they need to lose weight to be pretty like her. It's sad. And don't call me a Silly Girl.

Wait WHAT?! Meet The Oranges is out this month in NY and LA, and Another Happy Day is getting a wide release. Hello, IMDB. I think saying you "don't know who someone is" despite having numerous opinions about their body and their career makes you really silly. #TEAMNYLON

And I appreciate your last response (although @kelso is correct, The Oranges and Another Happy Day are coming out soon in wide release) because it was well thought out, articulate, and calm - the farthest thing from silly. @kelso, I first posted here then posted my opinions on other comment pages after I learned some more about her from my friends and the internet. There is nothing on IMDB that says she's done a movie called Meet The Oranges. Again with the name calling. I have never called any of you a name so please don't be calling me 'silly' again. thank you.

I agree with Mary that she sets a bad example for a lot of girls. I also just checked IMDB in regards to her films and as of a few minutes ago, she is not in a movie called Meet the Oranges or The Oranges. There is a film called The Oranges set for this year but she is not in it. Another Happy Day has yet to be picked up for release, limited or wide. It has only been seen at Sundance. Only Straw Dogs has a release date so far but that is not until September.

I love Kate Bosworth's outfit and I think she is a pretty cool actress. I was surprised to see her on the cover because I forgot about her but it was a nice surprise! P.S. I don't think she is too thin.

She's too thin?
