LIGHT AS A FEATHER

LIGHT AS A FEATHER

High fashion hair strands for the commitment-phobes.

A rainbow of pinks, greens, and lavenders have been popping up on hair (both on the runway and the street) for several seasons now. But what if you don't want to commit to permanent dye or long-lasting weaves?

Meet Luxe Plumes, a Seattle-based designer who makes temporary clip-in feathers to put straight into your hair. Her collections of skinny strands range from natural-looking browns to awesome neon...or you can ask her to customize them for you herself. And since each set comes with an easy clip-in clasp, you can apply and remove them whenever you want.

And although we were tempted to keep this discovery to ourselves, they're so awesome, we don't even mind that our best-kept beauty secret is going to the (very chic) birds.

This isn't something you needed to keep to yourselves, because it's already been a huge trend for months...although I think most of us would prefer you had, it's ridiculous.

Someone tell me how this is not as bad as wearing fur. Some of their earrings do actually contain fur from badger and chinchilla. At least a coat keeps you warm. This is ridic.

I remember like three years ago when all the little eight graders at my school had these...and they were just soo cool. not.

I like the idea, and I think they look really cool but most people that I see wearing them don't have that cool vibe to rock it. Which irks me because it seems like everyone's getting them just because everyone else is.
