Ahahah. "Amigo." Sorry. Um, what was I going to say? Oh, yes. I didn't mean to offend with the sex bit--I just assumed that, like most people who read slash, you were maybe missing it here. And I think that in this case, what is left unresolved is really Harry's attraction to Perry (hence the buttsex), more so than their warring worldviews. In my mind, that debate is pretty firmly settled by finding a bloated corpse squashed under a mattress, or at least that's supposed to be the idea. And between you and me, I love a good sex scene, though never an excessive one, and, obviously, I don't mind giving one a miss from time to time.
