POUT LOUD

POUT LOUD

We test-drive the new Maybelline Super Stay lip glosses.

Bold lip color is a NYLON hallmark, but getting a lipstick to stay put is harder than getting your sister to stop stealing your clothes.  We already discovered a lipstick from L'Oreal that really did last all day - now we test drive a gloss that promises the same thing.

It's the Super Stay 24-hour lip color from Maybelline New York, and it comes in a ton of berry shades that range from super-pink to almost-black.  Although their range lacks the kind of pop-art shades that double as Orbit Gum flavors - orange, grape, and cotton candy - it does have a ton of berry shades that range from super-rose to almost-black.  Most come with tiny specks of shimmer to make your lips look continually wet.

We tried the tubes and took before and after shots - the first when we applied the lip gloss, the second once we'd had a cup of tea.  See the results for yourself below, and if you're interested, they're available now at a drugstore near you - and they're $10 each.
