Get shattered with OPI's new nail polish.
Nail trendsetters like Katy Perry and Serena Williams may have been the muses behind OPI's latest offering, but trust us, this new kind of nail art doesn't involve hand-painted flowers or delicate polka dots.
Instead, this is a graffiti-inspired topcoat that thrives on imperfection. All you have to do is apply Black Shatter over any nail color, then watch as the dark layer literally forms cracks so that the base shade peeks through.
What's amazing is that each nail makes a different pattern that's impossible to predict, but really fun to watch. We tried it over a lilac hue, but we think it would be even cooler layered on top of neon or metallic shades.
So go ahead, experiment- and don't be afraid to get a little messy.

i love this! sometimes you have to have a little fun with nailpoish. And even if it doesnt have a "classy" nailpolish so! have fun a little.

Definitely a fan. My sparkle-covered "caffeine-fix" nails would look so sick if they were cracked. Gonna rep this all around my college campus (I mean.. ahem.. middle school?)

This is really a unique look. Not everyone needs (or wants) 'classy' nails. Some people want something fun and different, no matter what age! :D

i think that nail idea is adorably gorgeous so cute like if u put a pretty blue underneath ..... that would look sophisticated but kinda chipped if you get what i mean lol

Totally had nail polish like this when I was a kid! It came in a trio with pink, white, and clear. The cracks weren't as defined as the picture of the OPI, but I still loved it, so I'm tempted to try this!

I just got my nails done today like this and they are beautiful!! Its really cool how it starts to crack while you watch it.!! I'm only 16, I would say this is more for teens, and young women.
