Is red velvet the new vanilla?
If there's such a thing as a cupcake war, it may be between chocolate and its dark-horse flavor rival, Red Velvet. And though we've duked out the sweets at Magnolia Bakery, Billy's, and Butter Lane, we've never had to do it in the beauty aisle.
That's changing, thanks to Sara Happ, who's eschewed vanilla or berry in creating her latest lip care line, choosing Red Velvet instead.
Is this the beginning a new wave in beauty flavors? And do you want your lip scrub / lip gloss / body lotion to smell like Red Velvet instead of the usual sugar highs?
Obviously, this is of the upmost importance. We must know.

I think its a great idea, my boyfriend loves red velvet cake & lets say i probably wouldn't get him to stop sucking on my lips.

GREAT idea! Especially with the (dare I say it) "upcoming" Holiday Season! Plus, red velvet--the name, the fragrance, the color, the taste--is so sexy and irresistible.
