Look awake - even if you're not.
The Vampire Look was very popular on Fall's runways - pale skin, black lips, and red eyeshadow all over. But if you're not into the Cullen Thing, here's some relief:
Smashbox just released a white eyeliner, that you can either use across your entire eyes, or just dab into the inner corners. The trick is an easy way to look awake and alive -and if you watch closely, you'll see that Serena Van Der Woodsen does it all the time on Gossip Girl (and since she's dating a new guy every five minutes, she's definitely faking her beauty sleep).
For those over the smoky eye, this is the total opposite - and even easier to pull off. Just remember to dab a tiny bit of blush on your cheeks when you wear it, or risk looking like Cate Blanchett in Lord of the Rings. Of course, if vampires can hit the catwalk, it's only a matter of time before those mythical things do, too.

I love this idea! I had been wondering how to get Serena's awake and bright look for a while now.
I've been using Too Faced's version of this eye pencil, or just dabbing some off-white shimmery eyeshadow in the corners of my eyes for a similar effect.
