A new smudge pen makes smoky eyes easy.
There was a time when some kohl and a q-tip could get you a good smoky eye. But now that there's more options than Fellini's black-on-black makeup staple, things can get complicated. You can make smoked-out eyes in multiple colors, with brushes, with gels, or with pencils.
Or you can just throw all that out the window, and go with one of these smudge pens by Tarina Tarantino. Created in six colors, including gold, purple, and emerald green, the pens automatically smudge color along the lash line with minimal room for error. You can also use the pen to fill in your lid - in case you start off wanting a smudged liner, and change your mind halfway through.
