Makeup inspired by your computer screen?

You know when you try to make an image bigger on your computer, and it gets all fuzzy?  M.A.C Cosmetics thinks that's a beautiful thing.  Their latest lip collection, Digi-Dazzle, was inspired by pixels, and aims to mimic the effect of a stretched out photo on your lips.

They've added tiny sparkle particles into their lipstick formula, so each tiny granule of lip color has its own teeny shape and light reflection - the same way each teeny bit of a Photoshop graphic holds its own small square.

But despite this novel idea, using the lipstick won't make you look like Princess Toadstool, circa 1993.  Instead, it'll give your lips a wash of colored shimmer, which looks just unreal enough to be cool and pretty - not descended from your leftover Sega game gear cartridge.

I love this, but it would be so much better if we actually got to see it on someone! Anyways, the darker purple one looks so cool! I love crazy-colored lipstick :)

I really, really, really don't like these. I saw them at the M.A.C counter at Bloomies and they were extremely unattractive in person. I prefer dazzleglass.

ehhh I'm a devoted fan of their matte shade Ruby Woo, I wear it everyday pretty much. I may try the peachy one at the store though.

I'm not really a fan of the glittery lips.
