Do you really need a lip bronzer?
Among our pile of lip products, we've got sticks, stains, gels, and glosses. But never, until now, have we seen something like the latest Too Faced creation: a lip bronzer.
Designed to go with your tan, the tube comes in three different "flavors" for beach babes, snow bunnies, and outdoor girls. But if you're sporting a (hopefully faux) tan this summer, do your lips need to match?
The answer is no. Your lips aren't the same color as your skin (obviously), and unless you've done a really botched fake-and-bake job, they can't "clash" with the rest of your face. In fact, if you've got a good glow, all you really need is some SPF lip balm and maybe a little cheek shimmer.
So what can you do with lip bronzer? Slick it over a hot pink lipstick for a mod '60s look - or use it to test Fall's nude-or-nothing trend without looking like a vampire. (The Buffy kind, not the True Blood kind... Jessica would totally wear this stuff.)

I've always wanted to try one of these. Come on NYLON!!! No swatches, no pictures of interns with different tans wearing these, and I bet you didn't even try it! Whats the point of even making a post on it?!

Lip bronzer could be useful in matching cheeks and lips, especially since in the photo the cheeks are darker and she looks very pale.

Hey Kasey, we actually try EVERYTHING before we write about it - you should see our reject pile. But our interns get shy sometimes, and we don't want to plaster the site with photos of ourselves - that would be weird! But I promise, if we recommend something (or don't, in this case), we mean it!

I wouldn't find it weird to see real people donning make up products I'd like to try. I think it's really something you should consider.
