A runway trend from Spring gets "swallowed" for Fall.
If you love fashion - or Hollywood, for that matter - you know that Miu Miu's swallow print was a major hit this Spring. The whimsical-but-modern motif was so cool, it appeared on both Portia Doubleday and Dakota Johnson in our May issue... and apparently, people noticed.
As Fall items enter stores, you'll see several new bird options - but none of them are from Miu Miu. They range from the predictable (an exact copy of the print by Zara) to the ingenious (a gold leather brooch cut in the same shape as the stylish birds). And despite the fact that fashion mavens may declare this trend "over," as far as the mass market's concerned, it's really just begun.
Of course, if you're hell-bent on owning the original stuff, now's the time to buy - runway pieces like the swallow-print dress are hitting their sale prices, and some of the shoes have taken cues from their animal inspirations, and migrated to Bluefly's discount pages for the winter.

I personally think this line for the most part is ugly it looks very cheap but my best friend would love it for the reason it is in style.

I like when they are on a dark backround and light coloured birds since I feel like it's a creative twist on poka-dots. :) BTW the United Kingdom NEEDS a forever 21!!!!!!!

With all do respect this line of clothes is very tacky and not very flatering! I mean come on the guy who weres that long sleeve shirt or what ever that is, is going to look way past the century and like a complete looser!!! I mean come on!! One bird on a piece of clothing is perfetly fine, that can be used as a logo but as the whole print, not a good idea.

I hate this. It looks tacky. There's too many. Like if there's one or two swallows its okay. It makes it just another generic pattern and I think it looks really tacky...

if i could rate it lower that a 1, it would be like a 0.1.
its ugly, its flat, its unflattering, its baggy and to long, and it covers all the wrong places! who likes wearing a dress of two colors with a bunch of birds with a neckline that goes up to your neck and is sleevless and has a HUGE ribbon bow? it would just look weird and it looks tacky maybe if it made differently and didnt have as many birds, it would look better, and the colors are blan. maybe you should try somethin else.

so now there's flowers everywhere, maybe later this year all we'll see are birds?

Honestly... i think the bird is cute. i give 5 stars to the shoes, the denim jacket with the bird pin, and that black tunic. but all the other stuff... just no. its slightly tacky. but thank god for layering! we could make it cute. thats what trendsetters do, we make item a must have and transform things that are bad, into a very fashionable piece :) XOXO

their ok but not really a fashion tren everyone will like. u need something light for autumn coming closer, something that will grab peoples attention but at the same time not overwhelm them and truthfully the birds are a little to much i mean that shirt is COVERED in them. but those shoes are HOT!
