DON'T MOVE
L'Oreal's new lip colors promise - and deliver - makeup forever.
-
When someone promises a lasting lip color, we usually roll our eyes. There's no way a lipstick can hold onto our pouts all day - that's just the law of nature.
But somehow, the mad scientists at L'Oreal have defied the rules of Beauty Physics and created a lipstick that actually stays on all day. The long story: It's called L'Oreal Paris Infallible Stars Never Fail Lip Color Compacts. Each is named for one of L'Oreal's famous faces. It comes in six colors. Phew.
The short story: You can drink, you can eat, you can live your life, and you never have to reapply.
How does it work? Way too easily. Swipe your lips with liquid color, seal it with a protective lip balm (included in L'Oreal's case), and wait 30 seconds. Then you're good to go for an entire day and night. The one drawback is the limited color palette - the only really crazy shade in the bunch is Beyonce's red, and we're dying to try it with Bazooka pink, Crayola purple, or a Lolita shade of orange.
Still, we'd recommend you get one of these pronto. We don't make promises lightly, but we swear this stuff really works - it even held strong during a midnight makeout session. Sure, we could have been a little more demure, but hey - all in the name of science.
