LOOKBOOK: PHILLIP LIM
Window shopping just got a lot more dangerous.
It's so hot outside, we don't even crave pizza anymore (which is, like, almost impossible). So when Phillip Lim's Fall 2010 lookbook arrived on our desk, our first thought was, "It's too hot for this."
But after a few deep breaths, and the realization that Fall really is only eight weeks away, we dove in and got inspired. Besides some emerging themes - nubby knitwear paired with fluttering metallics, asymmetric silk hems - there's a general sense of calm for Lim's latest collection, something like, "Deep breaths, it's only clothes."
And that may be... but they're really great clothes.
