YO BABY

YO BABY

Is yogurt a better skin salve than aloe?

We're addicted to eating Greek yogurt in the office (it's perfect for breakfast with a little fruit), but the Hellenic beauty team at Korres has a different idea:

They've infused the same yogurt into their new line of skincare, inspired by the way it's used in Greek culture as a remedy for sunburns.

Their new Yogurt Cooling Gel isn't actually a gel - it's more like a very light, very cold cream that you spread over your face and body after a day at the beach / pool / park.

We tried it yesterday in the office, and the results were interesting:  Skin actually did feel cool and soothed, even when we put it on our bug bites.  The one big drawback?  You will smell a little bit like yogurt, so we recommend getting your Pinkberry craving out of the way before applying this stuff.

i love using yogurt in my facial routine. i make a cleanser with honey, aloe, and yogurt, and i pinch a little sugar in the mix each time i wash. store it in the fridge. in the interest of preserving and nourishing youthful skin, grocery store concoctions have far beaten anything from the drugstore or department store. in fact, suki products (an extremely pure line) is the only non-food type product i will use on my face. i'm 30, and often am told i appear to be about 24-25, which isn't hugely impressive until you note that i didn't begin caring for my face until i was 24-25.
