CRACK ADDICT

CRACK ADDICT

Does your nail polish come with a fault line?

Dammit, Australia!  It's not enough that you have Ksubi, The Vines, and koalas.  Now you also have a nail polish brand that's so completely nuts, we have to have it now.

It's called BYS and besides all the usual nail lacquer features - tons of colors, neon shades, matte options - they have something called Cracked.  It's a polish that does exactly what you think - creates tiny breaks along the surface of your nails, making them look like broken teacups - or hot pink earthquakes.

Besides being cool and (for the moment) unattainable, the polish has another fun hallmark:  It brings a whole new meaning to the phrase, "I broke a nail."

Hey Ladies, The website lists K-mart Australia as one of the places to buy it-so it can't be too expensive. My guess would be between $2-4 American. Louise-There is a distributor listed for the UK, email them? I'm going to ask my Aussie mother-in law to ship me some!!!

I'm definitely in line with Alanna on this one...too bad that 1997's version was a clear coat you could put over any color you wanted...

Kati

This isn't new. Its been around since '97 and it was cooler when you could put it over whatever color you wanted. but it's fitting that it would be coming back cause retro is always in.

Well this is stupid...why not buy shitty polish and wait a couple days later when water's gotten on them too much?

Noor

Might head down to K-mart and have a look. BYS make good nail polish regardless, but this just looks awesome.. I would've been 3 years old in '97 so this is new to me :)

This isn't a new product like your claiming. I had this stuff years ago when it was popular the first time around. Loved it then, still think it's cool, but don't mistaken it as "new". Please don't mislead your readers.

In '97 most of us readers couldn't even see straight.. I like this product seems okay.. Nail polish that cracks the idea is really kind of the not what most people would want..

ok i love how all these people are claiming that their reporting this as new, when it doesn't say "NEW" anywhere in the posting, so why don't you shut up, there just trying to show us all a cool idea. sorry that were not fossils and remember when cover girl released it in '97

Um, you don;t have to be a fossil to remember things that happened in '97. Unless of course you were born in '95. Or have some sort of memory defect. The np looks too cracked to look like antique teacups; okay if you wanna look grungy.

hey pissedoff, darling u need to chill the f out. is it so horrible that a person actually pays enough attention to the world of fashion and trends to know when a popular fad happened? No its not. Can you blame a group of people for being excited for a come back? Im pretty damn exicited! In 97 half of us weren't allowed to wear nail polish so can u blame us for wanting to now? Its a fashion trend that is starting to happen again in Australia. People in Portugal are just getting into the ripped jean trend. Whats important is the fact the fashion is the one thing the entire world has in common with one another. No matter what trend we follow.

Hahaha, read the article again guys. They never actually claimed it was new. This is funny, because BYS are probably the cheapest nail polish's you can get here. I normally refuse to buy them but this stuff looks great! Will have to pick some up!

It's funny, because BYS used to be (and still is) a brand sold in cheap shops like Crazy Clark's and Silly Solly's or whatever it's called now.. but it's become a really good quality brand and still at an affordable price! Love it. Still yet to try this one out though.. x
