Juliette has a gun... and a perfume.
Can a fragrance smell like clouds, smoke, and bullets? It can if it comes from Juliette Has a Gun, the French fragrance collection that's routinely obsessed with corsets, outlaws, and Calamity Janes.
Their latest perfume is called Midnight Oud, and recalls the musky smell of bedsheets and violets, along with smears of amber and metal (meanwhile, an oud is a Turkish string instrument, said to have seductive powers).
Appropriately, the scent comes in a silver flask, and is only on shelves this month - like a summer fling, it's got better things to do than stick around any longer.
