What's the only thing better than finding out about a new clothing collaboration?
Finding out about a new ice cream collaboration.
Last night, I got a preview of Bonnaroo Buzz, a new Ben and Jerry's flavor. The Manchester, Tennessee music festival's combo, though free of any illegal substances, still promises to give you a bit of a kick, with a blend of light coffee and malt ice creams, whiskey caramel swirls, and English toffee pieces.
I'll admit: It was probably the best event I've been to all year, and not just because of the endless tubs of frozen treats. It was because I also got Ben and Jerry's 2010 Flavor Line-Up, a list of what they'll be churning out this summer.
Boston Cream Pie, Dulce Delish, Mud Pie, Peanut Brittle, Milk & Cookies, Maple Blondie, and Snickerdoodle Cookie are all frozen aisle freshmen this year. At this point, the NYLON team has agreed to track down and taste each and every one of these flavors, but there's no denying that you can't really compete with an ice cream that also gets its very own music festival.
Although we do wonder wha's going to happen when the Dave Matthews Band takes to the stage. Could Magic Brownies take on Bonnaroo Buzz?
You'll need tickets to the four-day music festival for that.
