There are few things more routine than brushing your teeth: You wake up, you brush, you brush, you go to bed.
But this spring, Burt’s Bees is shaking up the routine.
The beauty brand is spreading its all-natural ethos to mouths, with a line of toothpastes.
Like what you usually see on drugstore shelves, they’ve got formulas for whitening teeth, reducing plaque, and freshening breath. Unlike other brands, they do it without any sulfates, artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives.
What’s the secret? Cranberry extract, which takes care of smiles without the help of harsh chemicals. But what shocked us most—more than the berry and orange options that are branded for kids, but we can’t help but love—is the consistency; while the vegan toothpastes we’ve tried always turn gummy within seconds of brushing, we had no such problem with our Burt’s Bees tubes.
Though our twice-a-day routine is still intact, the way we go about it is now all-natural. And that’s something to smile about.
