They're giving away free coffee to anyone who walks into their stores with a reusable mug or thermos.
To claim your caffeine, just walk into the coffee joint and hold out your cup. It's easy, it's free, and if you like the way it goes, start bringing a reusable cup for all your Starbucks visits - that way, you'll negate the guilt of paying $5 for a latte every other morning.

if they cared so much for the environment, they'd give more than a paltry discount to the people who use reuseable cups every day. they'd make the discount something substantial, like $1 or more.
