The Thompson Hotel Group gets a virtual room.
Considering the Thompson Hotel Group now boasts five locations in NYC alone, it always feels like there’s new terrain to cover. We’ve written about their fashion, spied on their staff, and partied at each and every of their various outposts. Yet unlike any past adventures, today, we’re checking all their boutique hotels… without moving anything but our fingers.
Enter Thompson’s newly launched blog, “Inn-Sight,” on display with Thompson's other digital holdings (magazine spreads, film reels, and art photos, all about the hotels). Now you can check out the art (like David Hockney’s mural displayed underwater in the Hollywood Roosevelt’s), fashion (we want one of the Jenni Kayne uniforms sported by the employees at the Beverly Hills Thompson), and film (Olivia Wilde staring in a short about a one night stand, anyone?) without ever having to check in with the concierge.
However, for those still wanting the 3-D experience (because yes, sometimes one should leave their computer) the blog also features some non-touristy travel tips, and current openings in the world of art/fashion/film.
