Nicole Richie wants you to dress like a '70s rock star this fall.
When Nicole Richie landed on the cover of NYLON back in 2007, she couldn’t help but admit, “I don’t have a clue why I’m famous, either.”
Three years later and it’s clear why she should be famous right now: Winter Kate.
The clothing line from the socialite-turned-reality TV star-turned-designer only just launched this spring, but it’s clear that she’s got a knack for making clothes that girls will want to wear.
In the fall ’10 collection, just her second for Winter Kate, Richie mines rock’n’roll icons like Stevie Nicks and Debbie Harry for a genre-spanning, era-crossing line. It’s both retro and modern, with floaty dresses and printed jackets that you’ll never want to put back in the closet.
In fact, if Winter Kate proves anything, it’s that Richie has no reason to worry about her status as a famous face. If only she could teach some other bold-named celebrity designers a thing or two about launching a clothing line.

I knew she was talented just by looking at her! Plus I loved her chic jewerly line as well! These clothes are so hipppe-esque with a touch of pure sophistication. I am digging the accessories as well! I love these designs!

ANNA, I'm afraid you are the silly one here. Unlike other celebrity driven lines, Ms. Richie is very involved personally with the design of each piece. Yes, she sits down and sketches. She even collaborates side by side with the designers covering all aspects of the Winter Kate design process, which by the way does have her name behind it. It's always good practice to do the research before making such assumptions.

I'm not the kind of admiring a socialite or a reality star whatever, but I must say that I like how Nicole Richie turned out to be what she is now. The girl has talents it's obvious. I like her unpretentious design, cute, girly and subtle. I like her jewellery line. Thumbs up Miss Richie, being a good designer must be something to be proud of (and nothing to be ashamed for!)

Gotta love the Haters. HAHA! Nicole Ricci is starting out fresh and is doing a good job at it! Loved the flowy feel of the fabrics and the way each cut compliments it! Although, a little bit more push out of the box would have been nice.
