We thought our addiction to DuWop's Lip Venom knew no bounds. The sticky, stinging, and sweet lacquer comes in different shades, a few "flavors" (our favorite is moonshine), and even infused in actual lipstick.
But with their latest product, Lip Paste, we wonder if they've gone bananas.
Called a "lip masque" - like a hair masque but, um, not for your hair - the new formula comes with jojoba oil and other natural moisturizers, plus the usual pout-inducing zing. You're supposed to slather the paste on your mouth, wait 20 minutes, then rinse.
The kissy-face ritual creates a "base coat" for lipstick or gloss, but it's also a lot of work for the perfect mouth. Is it worth it? You might not want to go high maintenance, and that's cool. But if, on the other hand, you're lusting after 15-year-old Lindsay Wixom's impossible pout in the 2010 Prada ads, this could be a good... shall we say "boost"?
