THAT'S NOT MY NAME
The perfect nail polish shade is now in your hands.
-
It wouldn’t be a complete day at NYLON without some kind of nail polish mention, but this time it’s a little different. Taking a cue from the days when Crayola hosted new crayon color contests (thank you, whoever submitted that perfectly named “Mac and Cheese” shade of orange-yellow), now you can design your own nail polish color.
British beauty brand Illamasqua is hosting a competition to come up with a new shade of varnish. To enter, just submit a description of your ideal nail polish color and the inspiration behind it (a photograph, a dress, a fabric swatch, whatever it may be). Two winners -- one from the Europe and one from the rest of the world -- will be chosen for production and, eventually, sale in Sephora stores across the country.
In 50 words or less, e-mail your submission to competition@illamasqua.com, or snail mail it to:
COMPETITION c/o Illamasqua
103 Charing Cross Road
London, WC2H 0QZ
Only one entry can be submitted from now until March 8th, so pick wisely -- and start coloring!
